As a mom, it seems my whole life is spent in service to growing three humans. Despite knowledge of this fact, carpool to soccer to swimming to robotics practice wears my patience thin.
“Where is my uniform?”
“I don’t like this flavor of [organic fruit] smoothie!”
“My notebook is at dad’s.”
None of these require action from me, but they reach my ears like a baby bird screaming for a worm. And so I offer you this: take care of yourself. On a foundation of sand, a house cannot stand. More than anything, be steady and solid in yourself.
